In the previous post, I quickly created a load test using Postman. Now, let's take a look at the results of that test.
When the test completes, Nouvola's platform will send an email with a link that opens the results of the test. This link can be shared with other users. Use caution, as the link is publicly accessible.
The first thing you will notice when the results page loads is a high level summary of the test. Since we were load testing a single service, the key metrics we will want to look at is the average response time and the throughput.
Nouvola also provides some very nice graphs to look at the data in different ways.
As nice as these reports are, the whole idea behind continuous performance testing is that we have a way to review the test. Nouvola facilitates this by allowing us to repeat the same test. When you return to the test plan, you can simply select the test plan and run the test again.
The next post, we'll take a look at comparing the results of the test and really begin our journey of continuous performance testing.
